The Steelers are half way to playing with house money for the first four games after slipping past Atlanta last week in week 1 of the NFL season. The win was huge and takes a ton of pressure off of the team immediately as they head out for their first road game of 2010. A win in Nashville would be epic and put the Steelers in a fantastic position heading into week 3. Per my usual here, below are 7 keys to the game that I believe the Steelers need to focus on to beat the Titans and a game prediction at the end. No Big Johnson Outside - For me to tell you how dangerous Titans running back Chris Read more [...]
Now that we have the Steelers Friday injury report out, it is time to read the tea leaves and see who may or may not get hats this week for the Steelers. Due to the numerous injuries, there is not too much guess work involved this week in the inactive list. Below is my guess at the Steelers 8 inactives this week. QB Byron Leftwich - As nice that it is to see him back practicing with a knee brace and getting a probable listing this week on the injury report, it is hard to imagine that he will be anything more than a number 3 emergency quarterback this week. It will be nice to see if he indeed Read more [...]

There is a rumor picking up steam that the Steelers might be interested in a draft day trade for Tennessee Titans running back LenDale White. White was a restricted free agent this past offseason and tendered at a second round level. He signed that tender last week and will make $1.809 million in 2010, but is not happy at all. White has no defined role with the Titans right now as Chris Johnson took over his goal-line work down the stretch in 2009. White has been pushing for a trade and after signing his tender is now eligible to be traded. Speculation has it that the Titans will try to get Read more [...]
