Oddly enough, it’s fair to say the Pittsburgh Steelers’ offense is the best in the AFC North after one week.
Let that sink in for a second.
OK, now that you’ve taken the short amount of time to deduce I’m a dummy and know nothing about football, let’s look at the facts from week one.
The Steelers’ 15 points in a 15-9 win over Atlanta Sunday proved to be the most points scored by an AFC North team in a victory. Baltimore was the only other AFC North team to win, with a 10-9 decision Monday night against the New York Jets.
The Ravens’ offense continually

It is hard to believe that after this past weekend’s Pro Football Hall of Fame inductions that only 21 receivers are currently enshrined in Canton. The latest was a no-brainer, first ballot enshrine in Jerry Rice. That discussion should have lasted all of 2 minutes as Rice’s stats dwarf everyone both active and retired.
Every year following the induction ceremonies, the talk begins of next year’s class as well as current players chances of one day getting a bust of their own. Several Steelers come to mind with the list being led by Jerome Bettis, Dermontti Dawson and Hines Ward. I have

The TO Show has arrived in Cincinnati on Tuesday as free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens signed a one year deal to play for the Bengals in 2010. Owens joins fellow reality TV teammate Chad Ochocinco and the two together look to strike fear into AFC North secondaries. Everywhere in the AFC North except for Pittsburgh, that is. The Steelers have handled both Owens and Ochocinco relatively well respectively over the recent years. Below I have listed Owens stats for his last 2 games versus the Steelers as well as the stats of Chad Ochocinco since 2004 versus Pittsburgh. I stopped at 2004 as it was

Dick LeBeau says it still has not sank in that in little over a week from now, he will be National Football League as a Hall of Famer. LeBeau on Tuesday, “It really hasn’t and I don’t know when it will. I still get up in the morning and pinch myself and count my blessings and say I guess I am not dreaming, I guess this is all really happening. We all look forward to his speech. Tom Kowalski has a small piece on LeBeau on the Michigan Live website today as well.
The stars appear aligned against Steelers offensive coordinator Bruce Arians in 2010 according to Steve Heiser of The York Dispatch.

Steelers rookie offensive lineman Maurkice Pouncey is being investigated by the NCAA over an allegation that he accepted $100,000 from an undisclosed agent's representative before playing in the Florida Gators Sugar Bowl victory. Pouncey does not face any trouble from the NFL, but it could effect the University. Pounceys will reportedly deny any wrong doing today, but it is just one more story that shows a Steelers player in a negative light as the offseason from hell continues.

Part 3 of the Ask The Steelers segment with linebacker Larry Foote is up on Steelers.com. Foote tells that he does not believe in superstitions or any game day rituals and answers some other off the wall questions.
Joe Starkey writes that despite several players getting up in years on defense, the Steelers still have the possibility of returning to a dominant unit. I concur as well.
Visit Pittsburgh, the area's official tourism agency, is trying to help get a future Super Bowl played in Pittsburgh. He says he tried to get the Rooneys to put a roof on Heinz Field when it was built, but the

You can tell it is the lull before training camp as bloggers, news outlets and online sports media persona's scrape for any topical subject to write or speculate about in order to bring visitors to their sites. I guess you can add this very post on to the heap, but only in hopes of squashing all of this stupid speculation of Terrell Owens landing with the Steelers. The notion was put into motion in a Sporting News article by the rumor flogging writer Mike Florio, who runs Pro Football Talk. In Florio's defense he does break a ton of news, but he is better known for sensationalizing topics and speculating

As Ben Roethlisberger's version of the events that took place in Milledgeville, Ga hit our Twitter account yesterday, it really has not and will not help his cause in my opinion. I hope there is evidence of her falling and hitting her head on her on accord. Every day it seems a new twist comes out that does not help Ben's cause unlike the Nevada case where everything that came out discredited the accuser. A long way to go on this one.

TMZ reported this morning that the woman accusing Ben Roethlisberger of sexual assault was "hysterical" when she spoke with authorities. This is according to a source at the Milledgeville Police Department.
We may not know for a while whether sexual assault charges will be filed against Ben Roethlisberger from his time in Milledgeville, but according to ProFootballTalk.com, Roethlisberger has hired Atlanta defense attorney Ed Garland. Some of Garland’s past clients include Ray Lewis, Jamal Lewis and Pacman Jones. That is a list you want no Steelers player associated with.

The Cowboys come into this game in the same situation as the Steelers did last week versus the Patriots. The Cowboys come off of a long week off after last playing on Thanksgiving day. The Cowboys will start rookie running back Tashard Choice versus the Steelers number one defense. The weather also favors the home team Steelers as temperatures will be in the 20's with the possibility of snow.
On offense the Steelers will once again look to run the ball with a mix of running backs Willie Parker and Mewelde Moore and use a ball controlled passing game to work underneath and the middle of the field.
