Steelers Browns Week 6 Thursday Practice Injury Report – Parker & Polamalu Work Again

On Thursday the Steelers continued practice preparations for the week 6 game versus the Cleveland Browns this coming Sunday. Wide receiver Hines Ward (not injury related) practiced fully on Thursday after having his normal Wednesday off. Running back Rashard Mendenhall (illness) was added to the injury report after sitting out Thursday. Linebacker Andre Frazier (thigh) practiced on a limited basis after sitting out Wednesday. Running back Willie Parker (toe) and safety Troy Polamalu (knee) practiced fully for the second straight day. Guard Trai Essex (ankle), linebacker James Farrior (elbow) and defensive end Travis Kirschke (back) all practiced fully on Thursday after sitting out Wednesday.

For the Browns on Thursday, nose tackle Shaun Rogers (not injury related) sat out for a second straight day. Linebacker Eric Barton (neck), linebacker David Bowens (knee), defensive end Kenyon Coleman (groin), kicker Phil Dawson (calf), guard Rex Hadnot (knee), tight end Steve Heiden (knee), linebacker D\’Qwell Jackson (hamstring) and tight end Robert Royal (foot, finger) were all limited on Thursday. Safety Mike Adams (groin), cornerback Gerard Lawson (groin), running back Jamal Lewis (hamstring), cornerback Anthony Madison (illness), defensive end Robaire Smith (calf), tackle John St. Clair (thumb), linebacker Kamerion Wimbley (shoulder), guard Floyd Womack (ankle) and punter Dave Zastudil (knee) all practiced fully on Thursday.
