Scott Brown from the Trib blogged about how Willie Parker took the demotion to the number 2 role. Parker is saying all the right things, let us hope it motivates him to work harder.

Defensive end Travis Kirschke took 31 of the 51 defensive snaps on Sunday against the Browns in place of Aaron Smith, Nick Eason had 13 snaps and rookie Ziggy Hood had only 7.

Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield sat out on Wednesday with his sprained right foot and his Vikings teammates didn\’t seem overly optimistic that he will be able to play Sunday. He has not been ruled out, but it would be a huge loss for the Vikings secondary.
