Steelers linebacker James Harrison and Bears linebacker Lance Briggs were named to the All-Pro second team after the Associated Press called for a re-vote due to suspension of Texans linebacker Brian Cushing. Harrison and Briggs tied for fourth in the AP recount, leaving them to share the spot next to fellow Steelers linebacker LaMarr Woodley as the second-team outside linebackers.

Steelers.com has a new “Hearing from Coach Mike Tomlin” interview up. It is not very revealing, but something to chew on nonetheless. 79 more days until training camp, folks.

The Bengals claimed running back Walter Mendenhall off waivers from the Buffalo Bills on Thursday. Walter is the older brother of Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall, but would need a miracle to make the Bengals 53 man roster.

Steelers receiver Mike Wallace and free safety Ryan Clark will be coming to JJ Cards N Toys Store in the York Galleria Mall for a public signing on May 22nd. The signing is from noon-4pm and for autograph prices and other details you can contact the store at 717-497-3226.

The Myrtle Beach Pelicans announced that that former NFL superstar running backs and long-time friends Jerome Bettis and Eddie George will toss out the ceremonial first pitches just prior to the 2010 California-Carolina League All-Star Game and also attend other events surrounding All-Star Week on the Grand Strand on Tuesday, June 22 at BB&T Coastal Field.
