Steelers Six From Around The Web – Friday July 9th – Tomlin Speaks & Schein Sucks Edition

Steelers scout Kelvin Fisher was present at BYU on Thursday to check out the workout of former Cougar running back Harvey Unga. Unga is expected to be selected in the NFL Supplemental Draft next week. I doubt the Steelers will be the team to spend a pick on him though.

The Steelers caught another break as Atlanta Falcons linebacker Robert James has been suspended for the first four games of the 2010 season for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances. The Falcons play the Steelers week 1 and will also be without offensive lineman Quinn Ojinnaka who was suspended back in June for the week 1 game as well.

Adam Schein of FoxSports.com\’s offers his opinion on how Willie Colon\’s injury will affect the Steelers. He says the Steelers will finish 3rd in the AFC North. Some lame reasoning by Schein. Normally he is much better than this.
