Steelers Broncos Thursday Injury Report AFC Wild Card Week – Pouncey Sits

Steelers Browns Thursday AFC Wild Card Practice Injury ReportThe Pittsburgh Steelers continued their on-field practice preparations Thursday for their upcoming AFC wild card game Sunday against the Denver Broncos and the Thursday injury report is now out.

Defensive end Brett Keisel (groin), cornerback Cortez Allen (shoulder), linebacker James Harrison (toe), safety Troy Polamalu (calf) and running back Mewelde Moore (knee) all sat out for a second straight day. Moore and Allen will not play Sunday.

Center Maurkice Pouncey (ankle) did not practice on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday and there is some concern he will not be able to play against the Broncos.

Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (ankle) practiced fully after being limited on Wednesday, while guard Doug Legursky (shoulder) and linebacker LaMarr Woodley both practiced fully again for a second straight day and seem to be on course to play Sunday. Legursky may be forced to start at center if Pouncey is out this week. Backup tackle Jonathan Scott (back) was added to the injury report as limited in practice because of a back problem.

For the Broncos on Thursday, safety Brian Dawkins (neck) and fullback Spencer Larsen (knee) both sat out for a second straight day and both will likely be unable to play Sunday. Wide receiver Eddie Royal (toe) was limited on Thursday after sitting out on Wednesday. Safety David Bruton (achilles) was limited for a second straight day while linebacker Von Miller (thumb) worked fully again. Defensive back Jonathan Wilhite (illness) was added to the injury report after not practicing today.
