Steelers Six From Around The Web – February 29th – Post NFL Combine Edition

Memphis defensive tackle Dontari Poe blew it up this past week at the NFL combine and he might very well be a better fit in a 4-3 defense initially according to Len Pasquarelli.

Bruce Feldman writes that he was told by a coach that faced Poe this past season said he is a freakish athlete, but took more than his share of plays off.

Bob Labriola has his latest segment of Asked and Answered up on steelers.com as covers questions asked about Heinz Field, Casey Hampton, Aaron Smith and Mike Wallace.

Speaking of Wallace, Bill Barnwell has a great free agent preview up on him over at Grantland.

Monday is of course the deadline for tender offers and franchise tags and Andrew Brandt does a great job of breaking down the tag and what goes into the decision of using it on a player.

Rich Eisen from the NFL Network ran his annual 40 yard dash at the NFL combine and I look forward to it every year. The best part is when they take his run and put it up against players that also ran at the combine. It is absolutely comical to watch.
