Steelers Six From Around The Web – June 4th – Ziggy Hood Workout Videos Edition

Len Pasquarelli writes that a few teams have stayed in contact with veteran free agent tackle Max Starks and that he could be a July signing, or a safety net for a club that either suffers an injury or lacks depth at tackle. Pasquarelli says he isn\’t likely to return to the Steelers again, but both Bob Labriola and Mike Prisuta disagree with that in the latest episode of Agree to Disagree.

Ed Bouchette still maintains Monday morning that we could still see Mike Adams, David DeCastro or Alameda Ta\’amu this week at the final OTA session. The team called off the practice that was originally scheduled for Monday however.

Dan Gigler has a good piece up on veteran wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery, one of the new leaders in the locker room.

Mark Madden thinks it is time that a Ring of Honor is added to Heinz Field and that Kordell Stewart has no business being in it.

McFarlane Toys will be releasing a special figure in November of former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward in his Gotham Rogues uniform, which he wears in a cameo in the upcoming Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises.

Video has surfaced of workout warrior Ziggy Hood doing a 50″ box jump from a seated position that is pretty jaw dropping and it shows the explosiveness. The middle video shows him deadlifting 700 pounds while the bottom video shows him dragging a 1,210 lb sled during off-season training at Outer Limits Sport.
