Mike Adams & David DeCastro To Start Versus Eagles Thursday Night

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin announced during his Tuesday press conference that rookie offensive linemen David DeCastro and Mike Adams will start at right guard and left tackle respectively against the Philadelphia Eagles Thursday night.

Tomlin also stated that guard Willie Colon will not play Thursday night as he continues to recover from his ankle injury. Ramon Foster will start at left guard in the place of Colon. Also not playing Thursday night on the defense will be defensive end Cameron Heyward.

Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is expected to start and play in a limited capacity, but Tomlin would only say that the starters will not get more than two series. He did not specifically state whether or not Roethlisberger would definitely play.

Chris Rainey will get first shot at returning punts per Tomlin.

Tomlin let it be known that David Johnson has not been moved to fullback and stated that next week he will be working at tight end.

Fourth string quarterback Jerrod Johnson will get an extended look during the second half Thursday night according to Tomlin.

No decision has been made yet in regard to nose tackle Casey Hampton starting the season on PUP per the Steelers head coach.
