Season 3, Episode 3 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I start off the show by looking at the first Pittsburgh Steelers depth chart of the 2012 season and how it is hard to read anything into it.
We move on to talk about the comments that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger made in regard to first round draft pick David DeCastro and if there is any reason to be alarmed. The name of Plaxico Burress will not got away right now thanks to the media, so David and I weigh in on our thoughts about the possibility of him returning to Pittsburgh. As I pointed out a few days ago, it is unlikely to happen unless the Steelers get desperate. We also take a look at the injuries on the roster prior to the Tuesday Mike Tomlin press conference.
In second part of the show, David and I recap what Tomlin had to say and that includes talking about both DeCastro and Mike Adams being named the starters against the Philadelphia Eagles Thursday night. We also talk pretty extensive about the comments that Tomlin made about David Johnson on Tuesday and what this may or may night mean to the final 53 man roster. We look at it from several different angles.
With Cameron Heyward also not scheduled to play Thursday night, we speculate who will get the snaps at right defensive end after Brett Keisel leaves the game. Corbin Bryant maybe?
