Steelers To Wear 1934 Striped Bumble Bee Throwback Uniforms Once In 2013

I hope you enjoyed the 1934 bumble bee throwback uniforms that the Pittsburgh Steelers wore last season, because team president Art Rooney II told Bob Labriola of Steelers Digest during a Wednesday interview that the team will again wear the yellow and black striped uniforms during the 2013 season.

The Steelers wore the striped uniforms in the home games last season against the Washington Redskins and the Baltimore Ravens. Rooney II did not say which home game that the uniform, complete with matching striped socks, would be worn in this season.

In addition to talking about the throwbacks, Rooney II also told Labriola that he would like to eventually see the NFL Draft moved around from city to city instead of it only taking place in New York City. He said that he would love to see it come to Pittsburgh in the future.

The interview that Labriola did with Rooney II will be up on steelers.com later on Wednesday.
