Steelers Versus Bengals Week 2 Projected Inactive List

The Pittsburgh Steelers will face the Cincinnati Bengals Monday night and below is our best guess as to what the inactive list will look like. The Steelers did not announce any roster moves or injury report updates on Sunday, so we have to assume that everything is status quo. The official game inactives for both teams will be announced 90 minutes before kickoff.

Landry Jones – As long as Ben Roethlisberger stays healthy, Jones will be on this list all season unless there is a situation where several players are ruled out for one game.

Hebron Fangupo – The Steelers will likely only dress five defensive linemen once again so that means Fangupo will be inactive for a second straight game.

Cortez Allen – Allen injured an ankle in the season opener last Sunday and was unable to practice all week as a result. He was ruled out for the game on the Saturday injury report and will not play Monday night.

Curtis Brown – Brown was listed as doubtful on the Saturday injury report with an illness so we can only assume he will not play. Surprisingly, the Steelers have not announced that they have promoted Isaiah Green from the practice squad like I thought they would. With Brown expected to be down, Antwon Blake will more than likely dress in his place to help out on special teams.

Le’Veon Bell – Bell is reportedly still a few weeks away from returning so he will remain inactive this week after being ruled out on Saturday. I don’t expect that he’ll be ready until after the bye week.

Heath Miller – Miller is still likely a few weeks away from returning, but was able to practice all week on a limited basis. Can he make it back before the bye week?

Cody Wallace – There is an outside chance that Wallace dresses for the game should the team decide not to dress two kickers. The Steelers have kept Shayne Graham on the roster all week and Shaun Suisham is also listed as probable. This really could go either way and it might come down to how Suisham looks in warmups.
