Several Steelers Players Issued New Jersey Numbers Following Saturday Cuts

Now that the Pittsburgh Steelers have established their 53 man roster and 10 man practice squad following the Saturday cuts, several players have been issued new jersey numbers.

Cornerback B.W. Webb, who was claimed off of waivers from the Dallas Cowboys this past Friday, will wear No. 39. During the preseason, cornerback Isaiah Green wore that number, but he was one of 22 players released on Saturday.

Rookie nose tackle Daniel McCullers, who shared No. 74 with guard Chris Hubbard during the preseason, will now wear No. 92, which of course was worn several years by recently retired outside linebacker James Harrison.

As far as number changes on the Steelers practice squad go, linebacker Howard Jones will now wear No. 44, while Nick Williams gets No. 65 and tackle Alejandro Villanueva gets No. 78.
