Steelers Versus Ravens Week 9 Projected Inactive List

The Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the Baltimore Ravens Sunday night at Heinz Field and below is a best guess as to what the inactive list will look like this week. The official list of inactives will be announced 90 minutes before kickoff.

Ike Taylor – Taylor will miss his sixth straight game Sunday night as he continues to recover from the broken forearm that suffered back in Week 3. Even though he’s back practicing again on a limited basis, there’s still no word as to when he will be allowed to return to action.

Ross Ventrone – Ventrone, who helped out tremendously on special teams during the last three games with safety Shamarko Thomas out injured, won’t play this week because of an injured hamstring. In all likelihood, Ventrone will be sidelined a few weeks as there’s no reason to rush him back with Thomas now back in the lineup.

Landry Jones – Jones remains a permanent fixture on the Steelers inactive list and will not dress Sunday night.

Chris Hubbard – With Marcus Gilbert set to return to action, Hubbard will more than likely go back to being inactive once again as the team usually only dresses seven offensive linemen.

Justin Brown – With rookie Martavis Bryant now dressing and producing, Brown figures to be the odd man out for several weeks moving forward. The Steelers don’t need to dress six wide receivers and Brown is not a big help on special teams to boot.

B.W. Webb – Even though Cortez Allen is struggling, I still don’t think that Webb will dress. Webb was down last week and there’s no reason to think that will change Sunday night.

Daniel McCullers – With Steve McLendon expected to be back Sunday night after a two game absence, McCullers will likely have to give back his helmet. McCullers received some 14 snaps worth of experience in the last two games, but being as the Steelers usually only like to dress five defensive linemen, the rookie will likely be the odd man out.
