Outside linebacker Howard Jones was expected to sign to the practice squad but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offered more money according to Aaron Wilson.
Rookie defensive lineman Caushaud Lyons has been claimed by the Steelers. He weighed in at 6’4 1/2 288 pounds at his Pro Day. The rookie out of Tusculum ran a 4.86 and jumped 30.5 inches in the vertical.
In order to add him, the Steelers will have to make a roster move.Â
The Steelers have officially signed running back Jordan Todman, cut by the Carolina Panthers. Steelers have released rookies Doran Grant and Anthony Chickillo to make room for Todman and Lyons, according to Bob Labriola.
