Schefter: Steelers And Brown Reach Long-Term Deal

Big but not surprising news out of Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Antonio Brown have reportedly reached a long-term agreement, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

As Schefter writes, the deal makes him the highest paid receiver in the league, surpassing A.J. Green, which has been expected all along.

Details have not been announced but should trickle out in the very near future. The deal is expected to average about $15 million per year.

We’ll update this post as any details come in.

Ian Rapoport confirms the deal surpasses $15 million per season.

Antonio Brown announces the deal on Twitter.

Steelers’ local media is reporting it as a five year contract.

Numbers on AB’s contract are in, per Schefter. He’ll make an average of $17 million on the new deal, announced as a four year extension.
