Season 7, Episode 89 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Monday show, David Todd and I discuss the first full weekend of the 2017 free agent signing period and that includes us discussing the Pittsburgh Steelers losing linebacker Lawrence Timmons and wide receiver Markus Wheaton to other teams in addition to them re-signing quarterback Landry Jones.
With Timmons now gone, David and I discuss two mid-level range inside linebackers who could potentially be fits with the Steelers for the right price.
We talk about a few other moves that have taken place around the league so far during the signing period and then move on to discuss the injury that Washington cornerback Sidney Jones reportedly suffered over the weekend during his pro day workout and how far he might drop in the draft because of it.
The Steelers will reportedly bring a few defensive free agents in for visits over the course of the next few days and we update you on who those players are.
Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell reportedly had his groin surgery on Monday so we make sure to pass that news on to you as well.
