Season 7, Episode 93 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Wednesday show, David Todd and I get right to talking about the three players who the Pittsburgh Steelers signed since Monday’s show.
Slowly but surely, David and I give our thoughts on running back Knile Davis, cornerback Coty Sensabaugh and defensive lineman Tyson Alualu and how their additions can possibly help the team in 2017. We talk about a few players who were already under contract who are now at risk of not making the team as a result of these latest signings and what the additions might mean when it comes to the draft.
With these latest signings now behind us, David and I look at the Steelers current salary cap situation in addition to breaking down a few possible future contract extensions for defensive end Stephon Tuitt, tackle Alejandro Villanueva and running back Le’Veon Bell. We talk quite a bit about how the Steelers might attack Bell’s extension as it relates to first-year money.
Mel Kiper Jr. released his latest mock on Wednesday and so David and I discuss his selection for the Steelers. We also discuss a few more top edge rushers in this year’s draft class to close out the show.
