New Contract Details For Steelers Linemen Parker Collins, Joseph Cheek, Larson Graham

Steelers Salary Cap

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed three free agent offensive linemen this past week in Parker Collins, Joseph Cheek and Larson Graham and now that their contracts have all been filed with the NFLPA we can pass along the details of their one-year deals.

As expected, Collins, Cheek and Graham all signed one-year contracts that included minimum base salaries of $480,000. None of the three players received any additional money such as workout or roster bonuses and that was also expected to be the case.

Should any of these three players somehow make the Steelers 53-man roster in 2018 and stay there the entire season, it would result in the player becoming an exclusive rights free agent in 2019.

The fact that all three players received minimum salaries means that the Steelers did not use up any of their available salary cap space in signing them as their contracts do not crack the offseason top 51 rule.

After signing these three players the Steelers still have $1,991,880 in available salary cap space with 72 players under contract, according to the NFLPA. That number of 72 should decrease by one come Monday now that the Steelers have waived cornerback Antonio Crawford this past week with a failed physical designation.
