Steelers Could Get 3rd Round Compensatory 2009 NFL Draft Pick
AdamJT13 has become a guru at figuring out compensatory NFL draft picks. Compensatory draft picks are awarded to teams that lose more or better compensatory free agents than they acquire, according to Adam. Adam gives a full explanation on his blog but in short it appears the Steelers could receive a third round compensatory 2009 draft pick for the loss of Alan Faneca. The official list from the NFL will be released very soon, so keep your fingers crossed that Adam is correct.
