The Pittsburgh Steelers are apparently wasting no time in shaking things up after not making the playoffs and will reportedly fire offensive coordinator Bruce Arians this week. According to ESPN 1250's Ken Laird, the announcement was made shortly after 2 p.m. and after Mike Tomlin addressed the media during a weekly press conference. The Steelers have made no official comment at this point. Initially hired by Bill Cower to be the wide receiver coach and served three years in that position. Arians was promoted to offensive coordinator in January of 2007 and just completed his third year with the team in that role. Earlier in the day quarterbacks coach Ken Anderson retired from the NFL after 33 years as a player and a coach.
