Steelers Sign LB Larry Foote To 3 Year Contract
Just as expected an old friend is coming back to the Steel City as linebacker Larry Foote has signed a 3 year, 9.3 million dollar contract with the Steelers on Monday morning according to ESPN's, Jason La Canfora. The deal reportedly includes a 1.8 million dollar signing bonus. Foote, who will be 30 in June, will provide depth at inside linebacker and will provide the Steelers a proven run-stopper.
According to John Clayton the contract is front loaded with Foote earning 3.9 million in year one. Going by those numbers, the contract probably looks similar to the numbers below: ETA: UPDATED real numbers below 2/21/12
