Dick LeBeau says it still has not sank in that in little over a week from now, he will be National Football League as a Hall of Famer. LeBeau on Tuesday, “It really hasn’t and I don’t know when it will. I still get up in the morning and pinch myself and count my blessings and say I guess I am not dreaming, I guess this is all really happening. We all look forward to his speech. The stars appear aligned against Steelers offensive coordinator Bruce Arians in 2010 according to Steve Heiser of The York Dispatch. Heiser says if the Steelers somehow make the playoffs, it might be the finest coaching job of Arians long, distinguished career. I would not go that far, Steve.
We reported yesterday that veteran free agent lineman Chester Pitts was scheduled to visit the Steelers and indeed it happened on Tuesday. Pitts was not signed and his agent Andrew Kessler said, ""He did visit the Steelers. That\'s all I can tell you at this time." Pitts was also scheduled to have workouts in other cities and the Steelers likely just wanted to see him up close for future reference.

Jim Wexell has a snapshot article up on rookie outside linebacker Thaddeus Gibson who had to miss some spring workouts because neither he nor his class at Ohio State had graduated yet. Steelers assistant coach Jerry Olsavsky helped Gibson stay in shape and up to speed.
