Reportedly the Steelers are bringing in former Penn State punter Jeremy Kapinos and free-agent punter Ricky Schmitt tomorrow to tryout at Heinz Field. The Steelers will place punter Daniel Sepulveda on injured reserve on Tuesday with a torn ACL in his right knee. Kapinos punted in one game for the Indianapolis Colts this season, averaging 44.5 yards on four kicks and putting two of them inside the 20-yard line and he also was a third-team All-American for Penn State in 2006, Kapinos was the Green Bay Packersā€™ punter last season and averaged 43.8 yards per kick. Schmitt most recently was with the Tennessee Titans this past Summer and has kicked in just one regular-season game. He was one of the leading punters in Division II college when he attended Shepherd College in Shepherdstown, W.Va.
