Steelers Six From Around The Web – Thursday March 3rd – Hire Bruce Arians Edition

On Wednesday Mike Tomlin interviewed former Steelers safety Carnell Lake for the open defensive backs coaching job. Tomlin has been in no hurry to fill the position since Ray Horton left to take the Cardinals defensive coordinator position. Lake coached the defensive backs at UCLA for just one season as he stepped down because of family reasons.

In other Steelers not so earth shattering coaching news, offensive coordinator Bruce Arians signed his one-year contract with the Steelers on Wednesday. Arians was promoted from wide receivers coach to his current position in 2007. Suck it haters. lol I wonder if www.HireBruceArians.com is available? I bet it is.

On Wednesday, Steelers linebacker James Harrison had his second back surgery in two weeks. His agent confirmed that the procedure was minor and they don\’t expect any further complications.
