Steelers Six From Around The Web – Monday May 9th – Woodley Comes In 82nd Edition

Steelers linebacker LaMarr Woodley came in at #82 of the top 100 players of 2011 as voted on by players around the NFL. The NFL Top 100 released the numbers 90-81 last night and also revealed that only 4 Steelers players in total made the top 100 list.

The final segment of “On The Road” with Kevin Colbert is up on Steelers.com as he details the final draft preparations, the actual three-day 2011 NFL Draft and what lies ahead for the Steelers during the spring and summer months.

TMZ caught up with Hines Ward coming out of a restaurant and he said he thought he was being Punk\’d when he was placed in handcuffs after a traffic stop.

Steelers unrestricted free agent nose tackle Chris Hoke was on 93.7 the Fan Friday morning talking about the lockout, his free agency status and how he hopes to be back with the Steelers in 2011.

Mark Madden has his latest rant up on the Beaver County Times and he thinks Rashard Mendenhall should apologize or be released for his recent Twitter comments. In addition, Madden thinks social media should be off limits for all Steelers players.

NFL.com senior analyst Vic Carucci thinks the recent move by Champion to drop Mendenhall as an endorser was a multifaceted move based mostly in PR to get their name back out there and circulating.

I am, I'm me. 40 something, retired and a life long Steelers fan.
