Season 2, Episode 21 of The Terrible Podcast is up and David Todd and I recap the Sunday night game. A win is a win is a win, but not always in the eyes of Steelers Nation. We get right to the Steelers 23-20 Sunday night win over the Peyton Manning-less Indianapolis Colts. We open with the early injury report coming out of the game. While a bunch of guys got dinged up, it appears that the ankle injury of Jonathan Scott may be the only one that costs playing time. We also review the active/inactive decisions and discuss the longer-term outlook for guys like Bryant McFadden and Jerricho Cotchery, neither of whom dressed.
In recapping the game we hit all the big topics--the Steelers lack of a running game and inability to slow the pass rush, the turnovers, the porous run defense. But, no it isn\'t all bad. Ben Roethlisberger, Mike Wallace, Troy Polamalu and James Harrison all did good things and we highlight a lot of that as well. We break down the game drive-by-drive and go over the plays that really made a difference. Unlike the first two games there is a lot to talk about in this one and we do. Get involved by leaving us any comments or questions on Twitter or email. You can also use the hotline if you want to leave a message.
The Steelers take on the Houston Texans next week and we will be back on Wednesday to recap the Tuesday Mike Tomlin press conference and hopefully have a Texans beat writer on to start getting ready for the game. We will also close the book with some final observations of the Colts game.
As always, thanks for listening and don\'t forget to call or email with questions or comments.
