2011 NFL Week 9 TOX Stats

The TOX stats from week 9 have been compiled and teams with a plus 2 TOX this week went 8-2 overall. The Steelers and the Bills were the two teams to lose of the group.

Year to date in head to head games the plus 2 teams are 70-18 for an 80% winning percentage. That is right were the number is expected to be.

Teams with a mere positive TOX stat went 11-2 this week. Teams with a positive turnover differential went 11-1 overall and teams with a positive explosive play differential went 8-5 this week.

Year to date the Lions, Texans and 49ers are way ahead of the rest of the pack. The Steelers are now up to a plus 3 TOX despite only having forcing 4 turnovers this season. They face the Bengals in week 10 who have a respectable plus 7 TOX.

Teams with a negative year to date TOX number are a combined 35-70 right now

It should be noted that the Jets, Falcons, Raiders, Buccaneers, Bears and Packers were on the bye this past week and their TOX stats were carried over from week 7.
