Steelers Mike Tomlin Chiefs Post Game Press Conference Week 12

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin held his post game press conference following the Steelers 13-9 win Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs on the road at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

Tomlin said he was exited about the win and the signature plays down the stretch defensively. Tomlin noted that those are the types of plays they will need headed into December to get out of stadiums with a win.

Tomlin did not think the injured thumb of Ben Roethlisberger was a factor. He called it a non-issue.

Tomlin said Steelers versus Steelers errors that beat yourself is going to put you in position to have to make plays at the end of the game.

Injury wise, safety Troy Polamalu suffered from concussion-like symptoms, center Maurkice Pouncey had a stomach virus and linebacker Chris Carter had a hamstring injury. Tomlin said linebacker LaMarr Woodley was allowed to run around this week and the decision was not to play him. Tomlin termed him as getting close.
