Week 9 NFL Picks 2011

Oh boy. Back to my losing ways and I felt it in my wallet pretty bad this past week as well. I was 8-5 straight up last week with my picks, but an embarrassing 3-10 against the spread. On the season I am 72-44 straight up and a very disappointing 44-72 against the spread at right about the half way point of the regular season. It will take a near miracle now to even battle back to .500 on the season, but onward I shall go. This has been my worst betting year I can ever remember. Hopefully you have benefited from it. Teams on the bye this week: Detroit, Minnesota, Carolina and Jacksonville.

Dave: While not exactly related to your picks, you may want to check out the Kevin Byrne (Raven’s Senior Vice President of Public and Community Relations) article (‘Two Biggest Bullies In The NFL’)at: http://www.baltimoreravens.com/News/Articles/2011/11/Byrne_Identity_-_Two_Biggest_Bullies_In_The_NFL.aspx

His article concludes with his 5 best memories over the last 35 games in Pittsburgh, including when the Ravens were still the Cleveland Browns. There is one about Bill Cowher and one about Art Modell that are hilarious!
