Season 2, Episode 53 of The Terrible Podcast is up and David Todd and I start by looking at the Pittsburgh Steelers injury report headed into Wednesday and discuss the news that surfaced on Tuesday that veteran Chris Hoke will need neck surgery and will be lost for the rest of the season. We move forward and talk about the play of the Steelers offensive line against the Cincinnati Bengals and discuss a few of the offensive snap counts a few players received. Yes we talk about Hines Ward briefly once again.
We move on to previewing the game Thursday night against the Cleveland Browns and David and I disagree on our thoughts on Browns rookie wide receiver Greg Little. Tune in to find out who is not impressed with him. We talk about how the Browns defensive passing ranking for total yards allowed per game is a mirage and what the Steelers need to do to win the game.
In the last 20 plus minutes of the show we are joined by Browns beat writer Nate Ulrich from The Akron Beacon Journal. We ask Nate about the health of the Browns heading into the game, the top end of their 2011 draft class and about the progress, or lack thereof, made by second year quarterback Colt McCoy. David references the recent article on Yahoo by Michael Silver and gets his thoughts on that. I ask about Josh Cribbs and his lack of use in the Browns offense. We preview the game a bit more and get a game prediction out of Nate before bidding him farewell. Make sure you follow his coverage on Twitter at @ABJ_Browns and read his blog online at: http://www.ohio.com/sports/ulrich
We\’ll be back Friday to recap the game and have a look at the other games around the NFL in week 14.
