Steelers Held Pre Draft Visits With Mike Adams, Derek Wolfe, T.Y. Hilton

Pittsburgh Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin, who is down at the owners meetings this week, met with the media on Tuesday and let reporters know that they have already hosted three college players for pre draft visits last week.

The Steelers are allowed 30 pre-draft visits outside of the local college players and they have already hosted the local University of Pittsburgh players.

In addition Florida International wide receiver T.Y. Hilton, Cincinnati defensive end Derek Wolfe and Ohio State tackle Mike Adams visited Pittsburgh last week according to Tomlin.

Hilton measured in at his pro day at 5095 and weighed 183 pounds. He clocked a 4.34 unofficial 40 time and had a 35.5 inch vertical to go along with a 4.36 short shuttle time.

Wolfe measured in at the NFL combine at 6047 and 295 pounds. He did 33 reps on the bench to go along with a 33.5 inch vertical jump and a 5.01 unofficial 40 time.

Adams measured in at 6070 at the combine and weighed 323 pounds. He only did 19 reps on the bench and ran an unofficial 40 time of 5.40.

I am, I'm me. 40 something, retired and a life long Steelers fan.

Hilton is a playmaker… slot receiver type… in the mold of Welker..
    Fast… quick…
Saw him play against Pitt… I’m sure that is how Steelers heard about him to invite him.

Idk if you guys have watched derek wolfe’s highlight reel, but the kid is a beast. If the steelers draft him, that’ll be a fine addition to the defensive line corps.

I watched alot of the bearcats over the past couple yrs. because Zach Collaros there qb there is from my city and was doing a good job down there……Wolfe was defiently the best thing they had on D they didn’t have a great D down there…… But he is the best and made alot of plays would like to have him here with Pead also…… Hell I don’t think Zach will get drafted but would love him to get signed by steelers also maybe as 3rd string or practice squad and have 3 bearcats on the Steelers
