Report: Fast Healing Le\’Veon Bell Back Practicing Friday

So much for Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le\’Veon Bell being sidelined long as Dale Lolley of the Washington Observer is now reporting that the running back is practicing Friday.

We will have to wait and see just how much the rookie participates in practice, but there is no way he would be out there if they thought he could do more damage.

Earlier in the day, the Steelers second-round draft pick said the knee bruise that he aggravated Thursday isn\’t as bad as people feared and that he still hopes to play Monday night in the second preseason game against the Washington Redskins.

Lolley does add, however, that he doesn\’t see running back Isaac Redman on the field. Redman reportedly suffered a stinger Thursday, but he isn\’t supposed to be sidelined for long.

UPDATE: Redman has arrived on the field in pads.

And just arriving on the field, Isaac Redman. In pads.

Best news of the day! :)

Now we just need a Pirates victory…

Really?… damn, maybe this whole thing has been blown out of proportion, if its just a “knee bruise” or contusion I guess it might not be all that serious

    Who is “Levein”??

If both Isaac and Le’Veon are full participants today I don’t really see the reason for claiming RB Wright

  • Matt Searls

    Woooo! Now go be special

  • Alexander Sebastian Heath

    I want what he’s on.

  • Douglas Andrews

Waiving a kicker before the second preseason game kinda surprising. We know Suisham’s got that job but signing another RB is puzzling. Anyways glad to hear the good news about Bell maybe he can get some snaps in during the Redskins game.

Breaking news! Steelers add Mr. Miagi to the training staff.

You know how it is when someone bumps into something that’s already bruised? It hurts really bad but doesn’t usually do terrible damage. He will be fine.

  • Jack Gardner

Im glad with the approach the they are taking with him! Putting him in practice but not risking it with non-content drills!!! Great news!!!

  • Kolie Oak

    Actually no…

princess Wallace would take a week off, but this guys wants it and moreover he wants to earn it!

  • GNG

I’m surprised they didn’t sign another CB instead.

  • Douglas Andrews

Agreed…adding another RB to an already crowded backfield?I’m sure he’s just a camp body but the timing is surprising
