Steelers Fantasy Stat Projections Versus Jets – Week 6 – 2013

The Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the New York Jets Sunday at MetLife Stadium and below are my fantasy football stat projections for the black and gold offensive players for this week.

Feel free to add your own projections in the comments below.

Ben Roethlisberger – 32 attempts, 23 completions, 285 yards, 2 touchdowns, 0 interceptions, 1 rush, 6 yards, 0 touchdowns.

Roethlisberger just needs to take what is given him in this game and not rely so much on the deep ball or extending the play. For once, no turnovers.

Le’Veon Bell – 19 carries, 74 yards, 0 touchdowns, 4 receptions, 32 yards, 1 touchdown.

Yards will be tough for Bell, but I am betting that a third of them will come in the fourth quarter. when the Steelers have the lead for a change. His lone touchdown I predict will come via a screen pass.

Felix Jones – 3 carries, 12 yards, no touchdowns, 0 reception, 0 yards, no touchdowns.

Jones shouldn’t have to be used much in this game if things go well and Bell stays healthy.

Jonathan Dwyer – 2 carries, 10 yards, no touchdowns, 0 reception, 0 yards, no touchdowns.

One carry for two yards and another one for eight. Like Jones, Dwyer isn’t likely to see much action on offense.

Antonio Brown – 6 catches, 85 yards, 0 touchdown

Depending on healthy Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie is, Brown will have to fight hard to get these numbers.

Emmanuel Sanders – 4 catches, 65 yards, no touchdowns

Sanders will likely see most of his catches across the middle and I’m not expecting a huge game out of him.

Jerricho Cotchery – 2 catches, 22 yards, no touchdowns

Cotchery is always good for at least a few third down catches, right?

Derek Moye – 1 catch, 6 yards, no touchdowns

Moye isn’t likely to see the field much as he fills in for the injured Markus Wheaton, but I suspect he won’t be shutout entirely.

Heath Miller – 4 catches, 56 yards, 1 touchdown

Miller gets his first touchdown catch of the season Sunday against the Jets.

Will Johnson – 1 catch, 11 yards, no touchdowns

How about we finally see Will used on a wheel route? They really should try to use him more in the passing game.

David Johnson – 1 catch, 8 yards, no touchdowns

David has actually become a threat in the passing game and I can’t believe that I actually just typed that.
