Steelers To Face A Healthy Ravens Team Thursday Night

The last time the Pittsburgh Steelers played the Baltimore Ravens back in Week 7, they played a team that was pretty banged up, especially on the defensive side of the ball. That won’t be the case this Thursday night when the two teams face off again as the Ravens are a very healthy bunch right now.

Unlike the Steelers, the Ravens practiced on Monday and their first injury report of the short only includes two players on it.

Starting defensive tackle Chris Canty (shoulder) was listed as being limited on Monday. Canty was injured in the second half of the Sunday win over the New York Jets, but did manage to return to the game.

Safety Brynden Trawick (ankle), who is one of the Ravens top special teams players, did not practice on Monday, so his status for the Thursday night game is currently up in the air.

The Ravens opened up as three point home favorites over the Steelers in this critical Thanksgiving night matchup between two teams that are still very much alive in the AFC playoff race.

Hopefully the Ravens injury report will be much more extensive after Thursday’s loss to the Steelers.

The Steelers are relatively healthy as well. The thing is that on paper we are pretty injures but we’re getting a boost from the replacements right now. That’s stuff you can’t see on paper. Will Allen for Shamarko Thomas, Ziggy Hood for a banged up Brett Keisel, Worilds (on the left) for Woodley, and Al Woods for McClendon.

Whenever Woodley says he is ready, add another 4 weeks for his recovery. I am tired of his tenure already. Is he going to be playing this game?

they had there ups and downs as well ….if steelers can keep up the points total they should come out this with a win …i just hope the def doesnt sit back on there heals once they got a lead and keeps pressure on .

  • Mike Carroll

Since it’s another muscle injury, he should probably sit and heal up another 10 days for the Miami game.
