The Terrible Podcast – Talking Tomlin Kickoff Incident Comments, Injuries, Linebackers & More Episode

Season 4, Episode 52 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I recap what Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin had to say Tuesday about the Thursday night sideline kickoff return incident during his Tuesday press conference. We attack this as objectively as we can and look at all angles of not only what Tomlin did, but his remorsefulness on Tuesday.

After getting past that key talking point, David and I discuss the injury situation heading into the game against the Miami Dolphins and specifically about the status of the offensive line. We also discuss the LaMarr Woodley versus Jason Worilds talking point again today and what the Steelers might do if Woodley is indeed able to play this week.

We look at the Steelers playoff possibilities moving into Week 14 and go over a few more things from the loss to the Baltimore Ravens before calling it a show.

As usual, there are a few more talking points scattered throughout the show.

Our next podcast will be on Thursday to better accommodate David’s travel schedule.

I hope they retain Worilds, i know it doesn’t make much sense seeing as they spent a 1st on Jones but I never liked the Jones pick. I know mentally he might pick up the defense cause he’s played OLB in a 3-4 but we’ve seen now that drafting a college OLB has different results than draftring a college DE in the physicality department. Worilds is stronger, faster and more aggresive and i believe he always will be and we are seeing him confident in the scheme now and finally healthy.
I’ve defended Worilds and Hewyard when they were picked but I can’t for Jones cause i never liked this pick. I hope he does well but i just can’t see him living up to his high expectations anytime soon.
