Miami Beach Police Sgt. Acknowledges Incident At Cameo Club

According to Ryan Cortes, Miami Beach Police Sgt. Bobby Hernandez has acknowledged that there was an incident Friday night at Cameo but that it has yet to be determined if Pittsburgh Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey or his twin brother, Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey, were involved in it.

The two players are accused of assaulting Ricky Vasquez, who reportedly required medical attention, receiving 10 stitches, as well as a woman referred to as Honey who claims she was trying to break up the incident that also included four bouncers.

UPDATE: “There was an incident that occurred at Cameo last night at 4:20 a.m., where an alleged assault took place,” Miami Beach Police Sgt. Bobby Hernandez tells New Times. “We have not confirmed it’s the Pouncey brothers that are the subjects, but we are going to have detectives contacting the victims to investigate further.”

Pouncey gettin a little too turned up on his bday

If bouncers were involved, then it’s clear to me that the guy was causing a disturbance. Regardless, Pouncey should have more sense.

I’ll wait for the facts, but even without this, his lack of good sense appears to be somewhat of a trend. Hate to see that in a supposed team leader.

Something about a $47 million dollar athlete beating some dude down at his own party because he’s gay doesn’t really make sense to me. Not to mention bouncers being needed to subdue the guy.

Everyone at that party looks like the Pounceys.

True. Especially if the guy was the DJ who was paid to be there. This guy is definitely up to something and we are definitely not hearing the whole story.

    Bet it was Mike.
