Steelers Vs. Titans: Winners And Losers From Week 11

The Pittsburgh Steelers improved to 7-4 on the season Monday night with a 27-24 win over the Tennessee Titans and here is just a little sampling of some winners and losers for you to discuss. Feel free to add your own in the comments below that you think I missed.

Winners:

Le’Veon Bell – Bell ran like a man on fire Monday night and he is now just the fourth different player in franchise history to rush for 200 or more yards in a game. Bell showed vision, patience, explosiveness and shiftiness Monday night on his way to gaining 204 yards on the ground. His five-yard touchdown run with 14:51 left in the fourth quarter was the first one on the ground for the Steelers dating back to Week 3.

David DeCastro – After somewhat of a slow start, DeCastro really showed Monday night why he should be considered one of the best guards in the NFL. DeCastro was pulled several times in the game and he delivered some big lanes for Bell to run through.

Antonio Brown – Brown’s touchdown was an excellent run route and he chipped in another nine catches for 91 yards in the win.

Heath Miller – Not only did Miller catch all five passes thrown his way, he also delivered several key blocks in the running game.

Losers:

Martavis Bryant – Bryant finally failed to score in a game that he has dressed for so far this season. He did a poor job of fighting for two passes thrown his way in the end zone.

Sean Spence – Despite sniffing out one pass play in the game, Spence appeared to have a rough night and it included a few missed tackles.

Mike Mitchell – Despite registering five total tackles in the game, Mitchell had a very pedestrian game. For that matter, so did fellow safety Will Allen.

Jason Worilds – Worilds was not only not effective rushing the quarterback Monday night, his drops into coverage were also not fluid. One of his two tackles was against the run while the other was after a 14-yard reception.

Ben Roethlisberger – Roethlisberger was very inconsistent Monday night in his ability to read the Titans pass rush. His red zone interception was brutal and several of his throws in the game were off the mark.
