Steelers Injury Report: Pouncey Limited Thursday; Gay, Gilbert Practice Fully

The Pittsburgh Steelers Thursday practice has now concluded and the daily injury report shows a few minor changes from the one that was released on Wednesday.

Not practicing again on Thursday was cornerback Ike Taylor (shoulder, forearm) and it’s now looking like he won’t play Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. Should Taylor indeed wind up being inactive, either Brice McCain or Antwon Blake will be asked to start in his place.

Linebacker James Harrison (knee) practiced on a limited basis Thursday and he remains questionable for the game Sunday. Harrison, who sat out the Wednesday session, was inactive last Sunday with a left knee injury.

Center Maurkice Pouncey (ankle) was added to the injury report Thursday after being limited with an ankle injury.

Cornerback William Gay (quadricep) and tackle Marcus Gilbert (ankle) both practiced fully Thursday and it looks like both will be good to go on Sunday. Gilbert has missed the last two games with an ankle injury.

Defensive end Cameron Heyward (not injury related), tight end Heath Miller (not injury related) and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (not injury related) all practiced fully Thursday after having Wednesday off.
