Dick LeBeau had quite a run during his second stint as the Pittsburgh Steelers defensive coordinator. As you can see in the year-by-year defensive rankings below, LeBeau was at or near the top in several statistical categories several times during his 11 years in Pittsburgh. LeBeau’s defenses in 2008 and 2010 were easily his best.
As you can see, the Steelers defense dropped off severely the last two seasons as the unit tried to work through somewhat of a youth movement.
