Steelers 2015 Draft Visits: WR Breshad Perriman Highlights Trio Visiting On Friday

The Pittsburgh Steelers are ending their week by hosting three more players for pre draft visits as Boston College quarterback Tyler Murphy, South Alabama tight end Wes Saxton and Central Florida wide receiver Breshad Perriman are all in town on Friday.

Murphy’s visit is a bit usual being as the Steelers currently have four quarterbacks on their roster. Last season, Murphy complete 131-of-230 passes for 1,623 yards with 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Murphy is likely to go undrafted and might get invited to the Steelers rookie minicamp if he doesn’t sign somewhere else as a free agent.

Perriman is a 6-2, 212 pound underclassman that is expected to be drafted in the first two rounds of the 2015 NFL Draft. He caught 50 passes for 1,044 yards and nine touchdowns last season on his way to receiving All-American Athletic Conference First Team honors.

Saxton, as we previewed Thursday evening, is a developmental move tight end who needs to work on his blocking. He’s expected to be drafted in the late rounds.
