2015 NFL Week 7 Stats: Adjusted Net Yards Per Passing Attempt Differential

Seven weeks of the 2015 NFL season are now in the books and here is your weekly look at the league-wide ANY/A differential stats.

As you can see, seven of the eight division leaders make up the top-10 spots and that shouldn’t be surprising. The one division leader outside of the top-10, the Indianapolis Colts, are ranked 24th overall. That, too, is not overly surprising being as they enter Week 8 with a losing record.

As for the Pittsburgh Steelers, they managed to come out of their four-week span of games without starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger with a positive ANY/A differential. It should be noted, however, that their defensive ANY/A of 6.78 is way too high. Their passing defense will certainly be tested this coming Sunday as they’ll play the undefeated Cincinnati Bengals, who currently sport the best offensive ANY/A stat in the league.

The Bengals, however, also currently own a defensive ANY/A over 6, so the Steelers offense should be able to pass the football on Sunday if Roethlisberger is protected by his offensive line.

The Week 8 game between the Denver Broncos and the Green Bay Packers figures to be a great one as both defenses have played well this year.
