Ole Miss S Trae Elston To Visit Pittsburgh

It’s like Beetlejuice. Mike Tomlin just asks for a defensive back in the mirror and they appear in Pittsburgh. Ole Miss safety Trae Elston is set to visit the Steelers for what sounds like a visit tomorrow. He tweeted it out on his account and sent a heads up to Ole Miss alumni Senquez Golson.

It sounds like’s he likes the city. Someone should take him to Mt. Washington.

He had a coming out party his senior year, picking off four passes, recording 14 breakups, and five tackles for loss. He was named a second-team All-American by the AP. He is listed at 5’11, 195 pounds on Ole Miss’ website. He did not earn a Combine invite.

We are now up to 17 known visitors. 13 of them are defensive backs while Jatavis Brown is seen as a hybrid player. The Steelers have brought in two offensive linemen and a defensive lineman.

Expect a draft profile on Elston, and hopefully every other prospect brought in, before the draft, which kicks off in three weeks.
