The Pittsburgh Steelers have selected LSU offensive tackle Jerald Hawkins in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Hawkins weighed in at 6’5/5 309 pounds with 34 1/4 inch arms. He was a 37 game starter for the Tigers. 25 starts at right tackle and 12 on the left. He was one of two tackles brought in for a pre-drat visit. He’ll look to compete with Ryan Harris for the #3 OT spot. There may also be a chance Hawkins is moved inside to guard.
