Season 6, Episode 97 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Friday show, Alex Kozora sits in again for co-host David Todd and we immediately begin talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers signing free agent defensive lineman Ricardo Mathews on Thursday.
Alex gives the complete rundown on Mathews strengths and weaknesses after looking at his 2015 tape Thursday night and we both discuss what his role is likely to be in the Steelers defense.
The Steelers pre-draft visits are now underway so Alex and I talk about the four players that they brought in on Friday in addition to talking about a few more likely to come to town in the coming weeks.
We talk about whether or not the Steelers will add a hybrid safety/linebacker this year during the draft being that’s the way the league is trending right now when it comes to defensive personnel.
Alex and I both completed draft studies this past week and we fill you in on what we discovered when it comes to the Steelers possibly drafting cornerbacks and small school players. We also review my recent extended breakdown of Ohio State cornerback Eli Apple.
We end this show by talking about a few players the Steelers have recently shown interest in at a few of the pro days that have taken place this last week.
