Eagles Injury Report: LB Mychal Kendricks Sits Again On Thursday

The Philadelphia Eagles will host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday and their Thursday injury report is a carbon copy of the one the team released on Wednesday.

Sitting out Thursday’s practice for the Eagles were tight end Zach Ertz (rib), linebacker Mychal Kendricks (nose, quadricep), cornerback Leodis McKelvin (hamstring) and guard Isaac Seumalo (pectoral). Of those four players, Kendricks is the only one that has the best chance of playing Sunday against the Steelers and it will be interesting to see if he’s able to go fully on Friday.

Practicing fully again for the Eagles on Thursday were defensive end Vinny Curry (knee), safety Malcolm Jenkins (foot), safety Chris Maragos (elbow) and safety Jaylen Watkins (knee).

After initially opening up as 5.5-point road favorites, the Steelers are now only favored by 3.5-points at most of the online sportsbooks. Both teams enter Sunday’s game in Philadelphia with 2-0 records and the Eagles are working on a short week after having to play the Chicago Bears on the road this past Monday night.

If you asked me who the top two people I would want to miss this weekends game for their defense were it wuld be Fletcher and Kendriks. This would be a boost for us.

I hope he plays tho, i love the running game chess matchups.

Last night I dreamt that the Eagles won on a last second field goal. It was pretty deflating.

Then again, I also dreamed that I was there watching the game, and that’s not happening, so …

Would be a big boost if he doesn’t play

If someone offers you tickets, DO NOT GO!!!

Wouldn’t mind if Malcolm Jenkins missed. Always liked him! Plays at a high level!

I think Kendricks is going to play, not practicing because the broken nose is sore, but game time he can play through the pain, it is more uncomfortble than actually affecting his performance

*unless the quad is the more severe injury of the two

Dave, if you don’t mind could u give me the source u use for your odds. I haven’t seen anything where the Steelers opened as more than a 4 pt favorite. A 2 pt swing in the spread indicates a lot of money on the Eagles if you are correct.
