If you’re not busy Friday night, make sure you tune-in to the NFL Network as they’ll be debuting a new episode of ‘A Football Life’ featuring Chuck Noll, who was the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1969–1991.
A few weeks ago, the Steelers promoted a new book written about their former head coach, “Chuck Noll: His Life’s Work,” that was written by Michael Maccambridge and that’s probably going to be on several fans’ Christmas want-list.
Noll, who lead the Steelers to four Super Bowl championships during his coaching career and was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1993, sadly passed away on June 13, 2014 at the age of 82.
It’s sad that it’s taken so long for this documentary to finally come to fruition as it has been long overdue. Better late than never, right?
