The Steelers lost S Troy Polamalu and CB Bryant McFadden to injuries during the fourth quarter of the game against the Bengals. Polamalu was injured while making a tackle on Bengals RB Cedric Benson.

The Steelers wrapped up the post bye practice week, Friday, with WR Dallas Baker (shoulder), RB Carey Davis (ankle) and LB Keyaron Fox (hamstring) all being ruled out this week on the injury report with Baker being the only one to practice limited on Friday. RB Willie Parker (knee) and T Marvel Smith (back) both sat out again on Friday and are officially listed as doubtful on the injury report and both are very unlikely to suit up versus the Bengals. DT Casey Hampton (groin) was limited on Friday and is listed as questionable and likely will be a game time decision.

On Thursday, Steelers WR Hines Ward (Not injury related) was back practicing fully after his customary Wednesday day off. NT Casey Hampton (Groin) was limited in practice participation on Thursday and WR Dallas Baker (Shoulder), RB Carey Davis (Ankle), LB Keyaron Fox (Hamstring), RB Willie Parker (Knee) and T Marvel Smith (Back) all sat out again on Thursday. Parker and Smith are looking more and more like they will be sidelined this week versus the Bengals.

Steelers running back Willie Parker did not practice with the Steelers today because he re-aggravated his injured knee and his status is now uncertain against Cincinnati. Parker stepped in a hole in practice on Monday and aggravated his sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee

Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel is back practicing in pads with the team on Tuesday. Keisel has missed the last couple of weeks with a calf injury. Running back Willie Parker is not in pads today, but is also back on the practice field.

On Thursday the big news was that QB Ben Roethlisberger (right shoulder) did not practice for the second straight day with an injured shoulder. Head coach Mike Tomlin said he still feels that Roethlisberger will be ready to play on Sunday night when the Steelers travel to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars. Pittsburgh Steelers running back Willie Parker, fullback Carey Davis, nose tackle Casey Hampton and defensive end Brett Keisel all will be sidelined when the Steelers take on the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday night in Jacksonville. Former free agent Steelers running back Najeh Davenport and practice squad running back Gary Russell will likely be signed to the active roster as soon as today. Working on a short week means Mewelde Moore will be counted on heavily this week in the Steelers backfield. Russell and Davenport will likely be used only as reserves.

Ravens cornerback Samari Rolle might be sidelined Monday night with a neck and shoulder injury. The Ratbirds already have ruled out safety Dawan Landry and defensive tackle Kelly Gregg for Monday night. Also runningback Willis McGahee is battling an eye injury but should play.
