The Cincinnati Bengals are preparing to play the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field on Sunday and their first injury report of the week is now out. Not practicing on Wednesday was defensive end Carlos Dunlap (illness), who sat out sick. Dunlap has 33 combined tackles on the season with 4.5 sacks and 4 forced fumbles to his credit. He is expected to be ready by Sunday. Limited on Wednesday were kicker Mike Nugent (right calf), running back Cedric Peerman (ankle), and tackle Andrew Whitworth (head). Steelers Place G Willie Colon On Injured Reserve

As expected, the Pittsburgh Steelers announced on Tuesday that guard Willie Colon has been put on injured reserve with a knee injury to make room for running back Rashard Mendenhall, who was reinstated by the team on Monday following his one week suspension for conduct detrimental to the team. This marks the third season in a row that Colon has been placed on injured reserve. Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin met the media on Tuesday for his weekly press conference to talk about the loss on Sunday to the Dallas Cowboys and the upcoming game against the Cincinnati Bengals. During his press conference Tomlin updated the current injury status of the team heading into this week of practice. Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders told Ken Laird of Trib Live Radio after the 27-24 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday that he suffered a cracked rib in the game, but hopes to be ready by next Sunday when the Cincinnati Bengals come to town. The status of Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant for the upcoming game against the Pittsburgh Steelers is still up in the air after he fractured his left index finger last week against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Pittsburgh Steelers travel to Dallas on Sunday to play the Dallas Cowboys, who now appear like they might be without their star wide receiver Dez Bryant.
